An EV charging system designed for strata conditions
Ready Steady Plug is a managed EV charging system designed to be simple to install and straightforward to expand, using standard electrical practice. Charging is delivered via standard 15A general power outlets at individual car spaces.
At a system level:
Protection, metering, connectivity, and control are centralised through EV Charging Distribution Boards (EVDBs)
Dynamic Load Management operates across the building, monitoring available capacity and adjusting EV charging to keep total demand within safe limits
No Wi-Fi or data connection is required at individual car spaces
What this means on site

Uses off-the-shelf GPOs and conventional wiring practices rather than proprietary chargers or cabling.

RCD protection, energy metering, and system connectivity are handled at the EVDB level, simplifying design and fault isolation.

No charger-level networking or basement Wi-Fi troubleshooting reduces post-installation issues.

Additional outlets and EVDBs can be added as demand grows, without redesigning the original installation.
